Finishing up a short film and I want to archive the project on a backup disk/online storage. The entire project is 1TB, but I'd love to only triple save the 'used' footage and sound. So far, I've tried the project manager built-in to premiere.

I'm getting the following: 'An unknown error occurred during project manager operation. Please save your project and retry the operation.' Any ideas how to solve this error?

Any advice on how to fix or a third party tool to help me finish this archive? Edit: I'm on the latest adobe premiere CC, and a 2017 iMac. FIXED: Looks like I had a corrupted project file. The fix was pretty simple, I opened my project file, right-clicked on my primary sequence, copied it to the clipboard. Then, I created a brand new project file and pasted the sequence in the library. Everything automatically imported and the project manager was working flawlessly.

But isn`t it normal for a nested sequence not to have an audio wave? I saw it several times and always thougt it makes nested sequences quite pointless.

I just looked in the manual, but there is no word about audio in the nested sequences. Rory are you sure, you want to edit nested sequences? I tried it once, but it wasn`t very handy. I always make one sequence for each Scene (with all of the footage from that Scene) and I edit it per copy/paste on the main timeline and it works very good for me. If you want to see where one scene ends and when the next beginn, maybe use different colors per scene? Dear Community, I have a project set-up at 1920x1080 with text and shape layers which I embedded through Dynamic Link with After Effects. My issue is that, when I export the video to 420p (H.264 codec) all texts, shapes and graphics lose quality and sharpness (even set at high bit rates etc.).

Does anyone know this issue, and knows how to solve it? My alternative, I guess, is making a new sequence and changing the settings of the sequence itself and the After Effects Compostion. That does take a lot of time, which I don't necessarily have.

Select Create installation media for another PC, as shown above, and then click Next. You will be asked whether you want to upgrade your current PC, or create installation media for another PC. You will be asked where to save the ISO file. Select ISO file, then click Next. You will be asked what form your installation medium should come in. Bootable windows xp iso download.

Is there an easier way around this problem? Help would be much appreciated! You have to consider the problem might not be with Adobe's software at all. They can't patch a problem that isn't with their software. On my computer, Premiere gets the computer to start glitching, but the glitching continues after I close all Adobe apps. I think its more likely the problem is either with the hardware (NVIDIA/Apple's problem) or the CUDA drivers (NVIDIA/Apple's problem). If that's the case, Adobe can't do much but work with their partners, which they have stated they are doing.

I attached a movie file that shows today's glitch. Interestingly enough, it blinks along with the cursor.

Personal info gaussian redacted. That being said, Peter or Kevin, would you please hound some people and get an update for us? Hi Holly, Still broken in Pro CC 2014.2 8.2.0 build!

I am getting the identical error message and issues in this thread that began over two years ago. The Project Manager has been completely redone from the ground up. It's probably a new issue occurring. Adobe, can you please explain a workaround for this? Why has not such an absolutely essential feature for a pro workflow not been fixed?

This is really unbelievable and makes me question if I even made the right choice to move over to Premiere. What are you trying to do, collect files or consolidate and transcode? Can you give us system details and info about your media?

That way, we may be able to help you a little easier. To be fair, I did try both operations and experienced no errors with the Project Manager. Thanks, Kevin. Hi Cafesse, I know this thread is a couple of months old, but I hope you solved your issue. I'm a bit concerned to find that this thread was started in 2012, and meanwhile I am having virtually the same exact problem in 2015.
