Borderlands 2 Skidrow Not Working

So this problem started occuring a few days ago. Normally i would just launch the game, play and have fun. But since this started, everytime i press play on the steam library nothing happens, i don't even make it to the launcher, a split second of 'preparing to launch' shows up and. No error or anything.
