Good Blu Ray Player Purchased this in order to be able to connect older Tube tv to the internet. This blu ray / dvd player has RCA connections along with HDMI. In order to hook up to internet, you need to use Ethernet cable, or you need to purchase a WIFI usb adapter / dongle. This player does not have a built in wifi transmitter.

The WIFI usb has to be LG compliant. I made the mistake of trying some generic wifi adapters, and they will not work. Don`t hold your breath, I`ve been trying to do an LG BD550 for over a year and at one point there was information online on how to do it but it required a programming interface, knowledge of Linux and the bottle to do it all together, basically reprogramming the player itself. This info disappeared and gave HTTP 404 errors shortly thereafter and with some more digging I found the UK BD550 is a US BD530 or something, with the US550 being our 560. It`s such a headache I gave up in the end but there`s some stuff out there if you search for it.

Also just found out that mine has been faulty from the start as now n again the audio drops out for a second then comes back.
